Trip Highlights

Special Update: When Vail Resorts took over operations of Canyons Resort in 2013 and acquired Park City in 2014 we knew that big things were planned – This year will be the first year those big plans will be available and our trip will experience this first hand

Two of North America’s greatest ski areas, Park City and Canyons are now linked via a new Gondola– creating the largest resort in the United States with 7,300 acres of skiable terrain! But that’s not all: the plan includes more than $50 million(!) worth of resort improvements that include a new gondola, a new restaurant, new chairlifts and a range of other improvements that will transform the skiing and riding experience in Utah. And this isn’t a pie-in-the-sky 10-year plan. This is all stuff you will see on our trip this season!

Join the team of Rex and John who plan to ski the entire 7,300 acres of The Canyons and Park City this trip. Now every level of skier will find double the abundance of terrain from last season. Canyons Resort caters to folks who really love to ski and snowboard and can appreciate how well the diverse terrain holds and protects an average annual 355 inch bounty of snow! Take your pick: All day at The Canyons, all day at Park City, or spit your day. With now 7300 skiable acres vs the 4000 skiable acres last year along with the Greatest Snow on Earth®, the abundance is now available for all levels.

In addition to great skiing, Rex and John are planning some great get-togethers, including happy hours and a farewell dinner. Be aware with this announcement and Hillsborough Spring Break this will sell out quickly.

Silverado LodgeWe’ll be staying at the Silverado Lodge, a luxurious retreat, masterfully designed for discriminating tastes. Cozy fireplaces, vaulted ceilings and oversized decks grace many suites. Accommodations include hotel rooms, and one or two bedroom condos. We also have a few hotel rooms available at the nearby Grand Summit Hotel (ski-in/ski-out).

This premium location is adjacent to the Canyons Resort Village and is a short walk to the lifts.
