The Canyons is the largest single ski and snowboard resort in Utah and one of the five largest in the U.S. COME JOIN LINDA AGAIN FOR A MARVELOUS HOLIDAY SKI WEEK!!

The Canyons Resort caters to folks who really love to ski and snowboard and can appreciate how well our diverse terrain holds and protects an average annual 355 inch bounty of snow. Whether you visit as a family, a group or a single, you'll find endless terrain for every style and ability. Take your pick: Long and gentle. Big and Bowled. Steep and steeper. Aspen and pine.

The Town of Park City
Nestled high in the Wasatch Mountains, the historic mining town of Park City is unlike any other ski town in the U.S. Home to three world class ski resorts, The Canyons, Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR), the town of Park City offers four season recreation as well as sophisticated dining and nightlife, all within a 32 mile drive from Salt Lake City International airport. It's no wonder the town of Park City was the virtual epicenter of the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games. Accessed by car, bus or shuttle on Interstate 80, the Park City-area ski resorts are the easiest to get to from downtown Salt Lake City, with The Canyons being the closest drive time of any resort at just 35 minutes.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES PLANNED:
Dining
Guests dining at The Blue Boar Inn (at right) will feel as if they have escaped to a secret European hideaway and we will take those interested on one of our open evenings.

Tubing
Soldier Hollow in Wasatch Mountain State Park near Midway offers the longest tubing lanes in Utah. The hill has lengthy 1,200-foot sliding lanes with lift service for towing people up the hill for tubing day or night under the lights, and a sound system keeps the airwaves full of enjoyable tunes.

A trip to the Soldier Hollow tubing hill is affordable family fun—where kids are kids, and adults get the chance to be kids
again. People literally race to get back in line as quickly as possible for another plunge. It’s a great outdoor activity for everyone to participate

First Tracks
The First Tracks program at The Canyons gives you the chance to be on the mountain earlier than the general public, every Wednesday and Saturday. Not only do you have the entire mountain to yourself, the program is timed perfectly to watch
the sun rise as you ride up the first chair

The Viking Yurt
This will be an optional side dinner trip for those interested adults in our group. Details: An exciting sleigh ride combined with a quick snoweshoe or nordic ski run, followed by incredible gourmet dining inside the cozy Viking Yurt, is an experience unmatched anywhere in the world.

Dog Sledding:
This is a unique adventure for the whole family with no age limit. Glide through the snow-covered meadows of the Uinta Mountain Range in a dogsled pulled by a team of beautiful Siberian huskies. One to three people fit on a sled.

GPS Scavenger Hunts:
Whether on skis, snowboards, snowshoes or foot, using old fashioned clues or high-tech GPS tracking devices, you can learn more about the Canyons or Historic Park City during this fun filled scavenger hunt. A knowledgeable guide will assist you throughout your adventure. This great activity for your company lasts 2-3 hours and can be tailored specifically to your group's interests and needs. Snacks and water will be provided. Ski passes not included.

Snowmobile Tours:
Ride brand new Polaris snowmobiles over scenic, secluded, privately owned land. This thrilling adventure should be a "must!" Guides, transportation, and helmets provided. Powder jumpsuits and boots are available. Minimum age to ride is 5 years old. Valid driver's license required to drive.
