Sleigh Ride Dinner at Uley’s Cabin Adults: $90/pp Snowshoe Tours Try one of our daily on mountain snow shoe tours or an afternoon snow shoe tour on Snodgrass Mountain. These tours are offered daily. On Mt. CB: 9:30 and 1:00 and on Snodgrass: 1pm only. Reservations recommended for daily tours. For a really magical experience try a moonlight snow shoe tour on Crested Butte. Reservations required for moonlight tours. All tours are $75/pp. Snow Cat Driving Experience The Snow cat Driving Experience is one-on-one instruction in a fully-functional Prinoth 275 Snow Cat as used in Crested Butte’s grooming operations. Participants learn the basics of driving snow cats, grooming, pushing snow on a closed course and experience one of the best ski resort jobs there is. Students must be over 18 yrs old with a valid Driver’s license. Offered at 10am and 2pm by reservation only. Prices starting at $260pp Backcountry Tours Our backyard offers a pristine, Colorado mountain playground. Join a unique mountain adventure and ski or snowboard hidden powder stashes in Crested Butte’s backcountry. Offering hundreds of backcountry options 10 minutes or less from town, there are open bowls, steep and secluded trees, big alpine peaks and multi day tours. A fully trained and professional guide will assist in getting the right gear for the tour and provide expertise along the way. Starting at $110/pp Dog Sledding We offer unforgettable wilderness sled dog adventures for all ages and abilities. You can choose between a short-tour that lasts approximately an hour or choose the learn-to-mush tour that will give you the chance to run a team of rambunctious, very experienced huskies on a pristine wilderness trail. You can also choose the all day tour which will give you a chance to spend the day with the dogs and view some unforgettable scenery. The tours leave just minutes from the Crested Butte Mountain Resort and transportation to the location can be arranged. Starting at $115/pp. Horseback Riding Take a journey through the snow on a one hour horseback ride with a stop in the middle for hot cocoa by the fireplace. We often see elk, mule deer, big horn sheep, and bald eagles. This ride only takes place in Almont, about 20 miles south of Crested Butte. Rides offered Mon-Fri at 1pm. only, closed Christmas Day. With transportation provided: $60/pp; Without transportation: $50/pp. Guided Snowmobiling Tours If a motorized adventure is what you’re looking for, then let us take you away! With guided tours lasting 3 hours you will be sure to get your fill with this adventurous family friendly sport! You’ll follow your knowledgeable guide through the Lake Irwin area just outside of the town of Crested Butte while experiencing the true Colorado wilderness. Tours leave from the Avalanche Restaurant in the heart of the base area. Tours are offered daily at 9am, 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. Prices start at $74/pp. Nordic Skiing Try cross country skiing on one of Colorado’s best groomed trail systems. There are more than 45 kilometers of groomed trails via three trailheads, around the scenic outskirts of Crested Butte’s National Historic District. The trails, groomed for both classic and skate skiing, can accommodate all ability levels – novice to advance. A full-service cross-country ski center is available providing professional lessons and complete rental packages for skate and classical skiing. Day Trail Pass $15/adult Snowcat Skiing Come experience Colorado's deepest snow with a professional guide staff that will safely lead guests through legendary terrain while enjoying unparalleled scenic views.
