Barb & Rex for a great week in Crested Butte Colorado. We fly into
Gunnison with a short bus ride to Grand Lodge located in the Village
of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. We’ll be able to pick up our
rental equipment and have plenty of time before the wine & cheese
party where we’ll hand out lift tickets and maybe you can find a
fellow traveler to ski with or plan other activities for the week.
The mountain base is within walking distance of the Grand Lodge so
you can be ready with skis/snowboards and goggles when that first
chair makes its move up the mountain at 9am.
The town of Crested Butte is
charming with over 100 years of history which makes it more than a
ski town. Crested Butte has fine restaurants, galleries, shopping, a
heritage museum and a NORDIC center that offers ice skating and
sledding. So experience the Wild West and the unique character that
Crested Butte has to offer by visiting the dining and drinking
establishments that line Elk Avenue as well as everything else the
city has to offer with just a shuttle bus ride from the mountain.
The Grand Lodge offers full service
accommodations with studios and hotel rooms. Studios can sleep 4 people
with a king and Murphy bed and has a kitchenette for those who like to
cook. The hotel room sleeps 2 people in a king bed with a small
refrigerator and coffee maker. Grand Lodge also offers an indoor/outdoor
heated pool, outdoor hot tub, steam room, health club facilities,
business center, bar and restaurant. There is also shuttle service into
town just 3 miles away.

Crested Butte’s peak elevation is
12,162 feet with base at 9.375 feet. There are 88 trails and 15
lifts with 14% for beginners, 33% for intermediate, 12% for advanced
and 41% extreme. Crested Butte also offers daily guided mountain
tours, moonlight snow shoe tours, snowmobile tours, extreme limits
tours, tubing, cross country skiing and NASTAR racing. Our group
lifts tickets and rental equipment is greatly discounted
Round-trip air from Tampa, seven nights lodging,
applicable taxes, motor coach transfers, Pre trip party,tips for Bus and
lodging, welcome wine & cheese party, farewell banquet, nightly planned
activities.
All cancellations must be received in writing by
October
