We will ski KICKING HORSE on one day and KIMBERLEY ALPINE RESORT on another for those interested. Kicking Horse (67 miles away) receives an average of 25 feet of snow per year and its terrain is rated at 20% beginner, 20% intermediate, and 60% advanced/expert. Kimberly (62 miles away) is the highest city in Canada at 3,640 feet. Kimberly Alpine Resort, 2.5 miles from the town of Kimberly, has a summit elevation of 6,500 ft. The terrain is rated at 20% beginner, 42% intermediate, and 38% advanced spread over 1,800 acres

Other Panorama Facts
The ski resort is of average size for North America, with 2,847 acres of skiable lift-served terrain. This places it somewhere in the top ten in terms of area. It also has one of the largest vertical drops in North America, at 4,000 feet (1,200 m). In terms of continuously skiable vertical drop, it is 5th behind Revelstoke Mountain Resort, Whistler-Blackcomb, Jackson Hole and Kicking Horse.

- Located in the province of British Columbia, 190 miles west of Calgary, Alberta. Panorama is 11 miles west of Invermere.

- Owned and operated by Intrawest ULC, North America's leading developer and operator of village-centered resorts.

Panorama has the most complete mountainside village in the Canadian Rockies region...

Panorama is known for its immense mountain, but it's the smaller-by-design village that really sets the resort apart. All condos, town homes, and hotel rooms are just a short stroll, or Gondola ride, from the steaming waters of the Panorama Springs pools, Canada's biggest mountainside hot tubs and pools. Check out CanSki for your summer wear or browse the works of local artisans at the Bavin Glass Cabin. Remind yourself to save some energy for the village and all it has to offer...
