MOUNTAINS:
This ski area provides a world-class experience with nearly 5,000
acres in which to play. With the all-mountain lift ticket, you can
enjoy all four beautiful and breathtaking mountains in one week,
Snowmass, Aspen, Aspen Highlands, and Buttermilk. Whether you’re a
skier or snowboarder, a beginner or expert, your lift ticket is good
at all four! Boarders are welcome on all four mountains.
SNOWMASS:
Outside our backdoor we will have 3,132 skiable acres of varying
terrain and 4,406 vertical feet. We will have 23 lifts and 90
trails that include an abundance of intermediate-to-expert ski runs.
Snowmass has been very last summer installing the $7 million New
Sheer Bliss Lift, which will carry riders 2,212 vertical feet and
will have a ride time of just over nine minutes. This lift can
carry 2,000 people per hour, which in ski terms means “shorter” lift
lines. Needless to say, Snowmass offers something for everyone.
ASPEN:
If you would like a challenge, try Aspen (Ajax Mountain), which is
ideal for intermediate to expert skiers, as it offers some of the
most challenging trials in the world. From the steep, gladed runs
of the “Dumps” to the incredible bumps on Ruthie’s Run, Aspen
Mountain is truly the athlete’s dream. Aspen Highlands has always
been a local’s favorite with uncrowded slopes, terrific views,
exciting and diverse terrain and the longest vertical drop in
Colorado. There’s something for everyone here from the gentle
beginning slopes, the beautiful intermediate cruising terrain, to
the more challenging Steeplechase. Every level of skier and
snowboarder will enjoy this experience. Buttermilk Mountain is one
of the best learning/teaching mountains in the world. It is an
excellent learning mountain for new skiers and riders. Buttermilk is
the home for the ESPN Winter X Games through 2010.
